Shera vs Trent Seven

They lock up and shoulder battle. Shera catches a crossbody then Trent hits chops. Trent ddt's him then Shera hits a big face kick and Gia Miller says he lost a piece of a tooth on it. Trent's head is banged off the mat. Trent's laying on the mat and kicks his leg.

Trent hits chops while he's down and Shera tells him he's nothing. Shera corner lariats him then hits a delayed suplex. We go to break and return. Shera spinebusters him for 2. Shera goes up top and takes shots. Trent superplexes him then hits a punch to the face, dropping him.

They fight on the apron and Trent is chokeslammed on the apron for 2. Trent hits a back fist and a lariat for 2. Trent chops Shera's neck and hits a burning hammer to win it.

It was very basic and passable for most of this but then it ended up going too long. At least Trent's burning hammer finished the match, but I'm not a huge fan of that being used, especially on a show like this that nobody watches.

Around the Ring

Gia Miller interviews Xia Brookside. Gia said her and Xia are strange bedfellows and have a lot in common despite just meeting. Xia said she met her and said she sounded like a real cowgirl. She said they talked about horses and had a cowboy theme for her 18th birthday. Gia said she makes custom cowgirl hats and promised her one. Gia asked how she got into cowgirl stuff. Xia said they do posh equestrian stuff in England and she wanted to dress up like a cowgirl.

Gia asks her if she will join her posse. Xia said she is in and they sign rhinestone cowboy. Gia asks her if she likes country music and she says Luke Combs. Gia said they are the resident cowgirls of TNA. Xia said she has an acoustic guitar and Gia said she has a fiddle. 

Rich Swann vs John Skyler

John gets on the mic during his entrance. He said Rich Swann is in a slump. He said he wants him to focus on the positives not the negatives, like him being from Baltimore and not being in Orlando. He said he wants him to be proud when he loses to this good hand. AJ Francis comes out to do commentary.

Rich shoulders him over and dropkicks him. AJ said Rich's song is catchy like a disease. Rich hits corner punches then chops him on the ropes. Rich goes after Jason Hotch outside. Rich takes a stun gun and a lariat. Swann sunset flips him then is sent chest first into the buckles.

John hits punches out of the side headlock then backdrops him. Rich flying lariats him then hits punches. Rich spinning punches him and hits a buzzsaw kick for 2. John slingshot spears Rich. They trade shots and Rich spin kicks him. Rich hits a corkscrew kick. Rich goes up top and Hotch gets on the apron. AJ grabs Hotch and chokes him. John then hits a 2nd rope green bay plunge and wins it.

The match wasn't anything special at all and was just normal. The only real notable thing about it was the finish, as AJ tried to help out Swann and ultimately failed.

Overall thoughts: Nothing really to see here. There were only 2 matches and neither of them were anything special.
